The VdS-certified BW52 components retain the trusted 50 cm damming height and 30° angle of their predecessors (BW50-IC/OC), while introducing a major material upgrade. By transitioning from vacuum-formed acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) to an exclusive, injection-molded polypropylene (PP) mix, these Swedish-made components offer a significantly reduced carbon footprint. Combined with upgraded sealing gaskets, this material shift delivers superior build quality, increased durability, and enhanced performance for fast, effective, and reliable flood protection.
